After a very long time, I returned to working on this game.
I think letting it sit was the right idea. I've got a more mature grip on trpg/p&p design now. I think I've got a game a can be proud of.
I finished the rules tonight and the night before in bursts of inspiration. I removed some of the features of the game I don't think were working but I was trying to make work because idk. I had ideas about what I was supposed to do as a game designer. Perhaps I was still thinking like a videogame designer.
I'll throw the text at some friends to look over, do some playtests, and then it's on to finishing art assets and doing layout work etc.
It feels nice to work on this game again.
